Another way of mounting Tongsheng TSDZ2

 Motor mount with rivet nut

"Inspired by one of the members I did a wee anti-twist mod today. Added 10mm rivnut, turned motor all the way towards front of the frame so it rests on 2mm rubber pad I double-taped there and secured with the bolt which was used for the original anti-twist bracket.

If it is going to move now, it is going to rip that rivnut off from the body, but since most of the twisting force will be absorbed by the frame where the motor leans againts the rubber pad I think it is going to be rock solid.

Made a mark to see if the big nut will move too at all. As a "side effect" I have plenty space to attach a kick stand now 😃

Btw, used a spacer from old wheel axle." - Vi Ad

Different Motor Mount Tongsheng TSDZ2 with rivet nut in frame
What do you think of this motor mount?
What about frame structure?

It's a steel frame. When the bolt is screwed into rivnut it basically fills the hole and props it up too, reinforces it. Should be pretty okay.

Why didn't he just use the original anti rotation bracket that came with the motor?

"I did go for my first ride yesterday and it went undone, partially because I had a spacer there to be able to pass derailleur cable under the bottom bracket. I did reroute it with full length housing today. Still, it would be tricky to fit a stand. It is perfect now." - Vi Ad

Looks a bit weird but I guess he couldnt make his stand work otherwise.
