Nolan N100E flip-up helmet, some information

 The original Nolan N100 flip-up helmet was introduced in 1998.

The N series helmet are made of lexan, a high end polycarbonate. And the n100 series is a super popular modular helmet.

The Nolan N100E helmet was available around 2004-2005 according to AI. But I think it's released more like 2002. E stands for electronics so you easily can use a intercom / headset.

Nolan N100E is the flip-up full-face helmet characterized by:- SMART LIFT: it allows the chin guard to open by using only the left lever; - Quick release buckle; - Ready for the Nolan Fog Resistant system (NFR) and the Vision Protection System (VPS). Front air intake: designed as a one-piece structure integrated with the JSW system, it allows two different opening positions and can be operated with only one hand. Chin guard air intake: Chin guard opening and visor mechanism. This helmet is equipped with an innovative chin guard opening system which integrates three different functions: A. Chin guard rotation movement with elliptical trajectory, which minimizes the frontal area, with chin guard in the open position, and prevents accidental closing; B. Automatic visor return, when opening the chin guard;C. Double Action: 1) visor mechanism: 3 different visor opening positions; 2) quick visor disassembly/assembly, without removing the chin guard; 3) visor lock: it avoids accidental visor opening.
