12 inch Cotton Cloth Polishing Buff Wheel make this job a piece of cake but when u do it all by hand you appreciate way more.

How To Polish a Motorcycle Engine Cover:
Start by cleaning it! Of course.

Honda AF18 motor.

If you have surface marks starts with 220 sandpaper and then go to 400. It start looking better, but as last step you go to 800 and 1500 to smooth out some of the scratches..

Then use diffrent types of compounds for the polish. 

I've also heard some use Autosol to get the shine. Good look. There are lots of videos showing how to do it on Youtube!

A Honda Elite motor I believe, what a finish!
