How to derestrict Niu MQI+ and NQI Sport
De-restriction Procedure
Scooters arrive in less than 2hp and less than 30 mph configuration. For full speed, full power, perform the following de-restriction procedure.
1) Hold the Green Start Button while the scooter is OFF.
2) Use H1 Controller or key to turn the scooter ON.
3) Immediately pull the right brake lever and hold for 3 seconds, then release brake lever and the green start button at the same time.
4) Press the Green Start button for 10 seconds.
5) Release the Green Start button and pull the brake lever for 1 second.
= Max speed unlocking sequence completed.
Or try this variant:
1) Turn key to OFF.
2) Press Green Start button and pull front brake lever at the same time.
3) Continue to hold lever and button in, and now turn the key to "ON".
4) Once the key is ON, Hold the START button and Front brake lever at the same time for 3 seconds, then release both simultaneously.
5)With the key still on, press the green start button for 10 seconds, then release.
6) With the key still on, press the Front Brake lever for 1 second and then release.
7) Turn key to OFF.
8) Remove key.
9) You are now unlocked and ready to start riding.
To lock the speed again (turn speed limit on): Do the same process to go back restricted speed.
Apparently it does not work on Niu MQI GT... If you know how to derestrict please comment.
